The Route 66 Interpretive Center is located inside the former Chandler Armory, which was built as a WPA project. We enjoyed the short tour of the armory and the main video about a man's two journeys on Route 66 decades apart finding some of the same places he had stayed and visited. There is also several different video stations to watch other short videos about Route 66 while sitting in different car seats or laying on beds, but most of these either did not work or the volume was too low to really enjoy them. It's hard to recommend stopping here until they upgrade their audio system, but I still liked seeing the architecture and the main video is good.
