30th Birthday Road Trip: Day 4 - 9. New Bedford Whaling NHP
Our fourth and final stop today was actually originally planned as the first stop tomorrow, but we finished at Roger Williams before 2pm and it was only half an hour to New Bedford. Ranger Dan post here.
30th Birthday Road Trip: Day 4 - River Bend Farm (7. Blackstone River Valley NHC)
Our second spot was added on the whim when I saw the sign for Blackstone River Valley NHC Visitor Center, which if I remember correctly I didn't include on the trip because I couldn't figure out what were the sites since it's a partnership type park (or they were closed the days we were originally supposed to be through the area). Also, our original second stop is also sort of part of the NHC, so I was going to count that as visiting, although I did not include it in the 30 units for the trip. Ranger Dan post here.
