Our Koffee Trail: C3 Coffee Co.

We did not get on the road as close to 5am as planned, but that meant that we hit Conway right after 6am, so we could get C3 Coffee Co. instead of Starbucks.

Dad and I both enjoyed the seasonal Blueberry Muffin Latte. Might have to go when we are back home to have again.

We got Mom the seasonal Chocolate Cheese Puff Cold Brew, which both Mik and her enjoyed sharing (Mik doesn't like getting anything not in a bottle when in the car).

Mik enjoyed the Bacon Croissant Breakfast Sandwich once it cooled off enough to eat.

Our Koffee Trail: Peaches n' Cream

On the way home from IKEA, Dad spotted Peaches n' Cream as we past it and asked if needed to stop. Of course, he pointed it out because of the ice cream, but I told him to take the next U-turn to stop because I saw the coffee sign.

I got a Shortbread Latte.

Dad got Peach ice cream.

We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs while Dad ate his ice cream. Their Chevy tailgate bench also gave me the idea that we should put one of the old North Dakota license plates we have on ours.

Our Koffee Trail: C3 Coffee Co.

On our way to IKEA in Charlotte for the second time in a little over a week, we stopped at C3 Coffee Co in Conway instead of making coffee before leaving home.

Dad got a Honey Graham Oatmilk Latte and I got a Salted Caramel Oatmilk Latte.

Dad also noticed the coffee roaster and got a bag of decaf for home.

Our Koffee Trail: Cooper River Coffee Roasters

Dad visited this one on his own while Mom was at an extended appointment. He had a plain, basic latte with oat milk. He checked out the  custom roasts and found a water washed decaf Mexican coffee for me. He says he need to bring me with next time so we can visit the adjacent Trade A Book used bookstore.

Exploring the North Collection of theNate at Governor's State University

The main reason we went out to Governor's State University was because I wanted to get a Governor's State University hoodie. I also wanted to explore the sculpture garden, especially when Dad informed me he had never been to Governor's State University.

I spent many summer days on the campus of Governor's State University growing up. While Grandma was teaching or otherwise working, Kirsten and I often explored the campus. We probably spent most of our time in the library, but I also remember the sculptures. I did not realize until more recently that it was actually a sculpture park.

After getting a hoodie at the bookstore (and sweatpants for Mik), Dad and I walked the trail around the lake and saw most of the North Collection of the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Garden (i.e. The Nate).

Our Koffee Trail: The Edge Coffee House & Roasting Company

We found The Edge when we were looking to find some coffee on our way out to Governor's State University.

I had a Raspberry Latte. Dad tried to get a Cherry Chai Latte, but the barista could not get the cherry to not end up causing it to be lumpy with or without chai, so he ended up getting a Blueberry Chai Latte instead.

While waiting for Dad's drink, he checked out the roasting going on.
